The headlines going around are including reactions from the Danish King, European politicians and the opposition in the US. But as Trump behaves like an authoritarian leader, few have been pondering over how other dictators might think about his controversial comments.
Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin and other autocrats have long been working together to replace the current rule based liberal world order with a so called multipolar world order, where might makes right and the strongest states are allowed to behave as they please within their respective region.
As Niklas ”@Kluddniklas” Eriksson shows in his latest satire for Kinamedia, Xi and Putin are very likely to embrace Trump’s ambitions for Greenland or at least his idea of a new world order that is leaning more towards the one they are trying to create.
Because if the US takes control over Greenland because it ”needs to” for security purposes, who would have the moral high ground to tell Xi and Putin to leave Taiwan and Ukraine alone?
